Presto Chango

October 10th, 2006

TaDa! I’ve changed to WordPress (I’m a band-wagon jumper). I’m working to set it up the way I like it, so please bear with me. The gallery is coming back, promise, and maybe with some new pics!! Hopefully I can get her back to where I like her.. but I DO enjoy the theme I’m using (not mine nor my pic).

Your view has changed too, I see. Very nice!

It’s not my view, but it is nice!! Came with the template. As winter approaches (and I have more time to play around with things) I may have to change it to reflect either the season or where I’d rather be. :)

I like the new look too. Let me know how you find WordPress… eventually I plan to put together a real site in order to do, well, something, and I’m curious as to how you feel about it.

Having spent some more time staring at your view, I thought I’d share the fact that the three “islands” are the result of coastal erosion, most probably longshore drift which wears away the softer material between the hard rocks. First creating caves in the sides of the cliffs, then arches when the caves reach through to the other side. Eventually the tops of the arches fall down which leaves stacks (like the closest and furthest “islands”). Nearly lastly, the stacks get worn away by surf and wind to leave stumps (like the middle one). I could probably use that picture in a fairly informative Geography class….

It’s pretty. It’s peaceful. The colours are very tranquil….

    Web Feng-Shui?

Nice! I’m diggin’ the new digs.. and welcome to the wagon! We’re glad you’re here. If we didn’t want a lot of people jumping on it, we wouldn’t've gotten a wagon. Probably just a band-sports-coupe or something.. and then we’d have covered it in spikes.. so any jumping on it would cause serious injury.

Happy to oblige… can I go back and edit that sleep-deprived comment for punctuation? Gah!
